Ghost Spiders (Anyphaenidae)

Ghost spiders are usually around 5-10 mm in length. They are wandering predators that may be seen guarding eggsacs on plants or under rocks or debris. The roughly half-dozen Californian species of Anyphaena are the most frequently encountered, but Wulfia incursa also occurs in California.
